Chatham Get Away
My husband and I have rented many, many times in Chatham for a week or two. We know it well. We are considering buying in Chatham and decided to rent long term (a month) to see how Chatham would feel for an extended period. We chose this location as you can walk to town, walk to Stage Harbor, walk to Oyster Pond and easily bike to Light House Beach as well as many other locations. The home is located on a small dead end with Cedar Swamp at the end of the street. Don't be fooled by the name, it's beautiful. There are only 3 other homes on the small dead end and the neighbors could not be more friendly. The home was terrific. Four bedrooms, 2 full baths plus an outdoor shower. The mattresses were all in excellent condition and very comfortable. The home was very clean with all the necessary amenities including a well stocked kitchen. The open concept kitchen, dining and living room is perfect for family & guests. The large 3-season porch is filled with tons of light, offers great breezes & is perfect for relaxing, reading a good book or playing board games on a rainy day. Two bedrooms on first floor with a full bath and 2 bedrooms and a full bath on the second floor. There is a large back deck complete with a large table & grill. The yard offers space to play corn hole, play catch or sunbath. Three bedrooms with queen beds & the large master features a king. The home is equipped with a full size washer/dryer and includes beach chairs, corn hole game, putting game, tons of board games as well as use of their 2-man kayak. The home is suitable for a family with children, teens, 20 somethings or 3 couples. Pine Acres could not have been more attentive and the owners were easily available for questions. We very much enjoyed our stay!
