Great House & Great Location. Would return and recommend.
My family of 4, with kids 18 and 20 and their friends, thoroughly enjoyed our week at this beautiful, well-kept, spectacularly clean and cozy home, which is tucked into a private and nicely landscaped yard just a 5-minute walk from Andrew Hardings beach and a 15-minute walk into town. We loved being able to walk to both Lighthouse Beach and Perk Coffee or Bagel Dudes in the mornings. We used the pool and outdoor shower daily and enjoyed lawn games every night (there was room for the cornhole set, etc. we brought). There's ample and comfortable outdoor seating and room to store bikes, etc. in the garage. The kitchen, with high-end appliances, was well stocked, and we had fun streaming movies in the family room, which offered plenty of seating for our group. The first floor offers another living area with t.v., a laundry room, and a 1/2 bath. The ac worked well both upstairs and down. The primary ensuite bedroom, off the kitchen, was comfortable and private. The boys loved their space upstairs: a walkthrough room with a futon, and a bedroom with another futon and two twin beds. These rooms also stored dozens of books and games. There's a full bath in the upstairs hall. The girls had the other two bedrooms: 1 with an ensuite double/queen and the other with two twin beds. If you travel with small children, this home has two cribs, shelves of children's books and games, and a pool house with toys. The outlets and appliances are also child-proofed. There are two bathtubs upstairs. Each bedroom has a television. The neighborhood is quiet and charming. You can easily park 4 cars in the driveway. Wifi worked perfectly. The rental fee covers sheets and bath and pool towels. The closets house extra pillows and blankets. The back yard is fenced. The interior lot and landscaping create an oasis. Dealing with Pine Acres was a breeze. We loved this house, its location, and its amenities. We've rented several very nice homes in Chatham over the years. We agreed this is our favorite.
